Jolly's Pizza & Scholarly Brewing

This is hands-down my favorite pizza place of all time. Not only are the pizzas unbelievably good (I've had almost all of them now), the beers are fantastic, and the place is pure nostalgia. The bar, the tables, video game machines, and the coolest way of ordering ever— calling in on your table's personal red corded phone. Would give it 100 stars if allowed!

I’ve come here for take out and for dining in. Service was wonderful, energetic, friendly and prompt every time. The place inside takes me back to my childhood such that it’s a flashback to the 70s and 80s. The decor reminds me of those decades and yet has modern technology to track and pay for orders. There are five or six TVs and at least one of the TVs airs reruns of game shows and sitcoms from the 60s, 70s and 80s- fun and interesting and adds to the nostalgia. The bar and dining area are clean and the men’s washroom is immaculately clean. My go to pizza is the Honest Abe Froman- Italian Sausage, pizza sauce, cheese, ricotta, and basil baked on a thick French Bread like crust. The crust took some getting used to and the toppings are high quality. To say this is delicious is an understatement. If you seen the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off then you’ll get the name of this amazing pizza. Then there is the beer from Jolly Scholar Brewing Co, which is a Cleveland Brewery. I’ve been drinking their beer for years and always impressed. So many different styles, especially many good IPAs. These pair well with their pizzas and $4.50 per 12 oz glass. Great beer at a great price. I will keep coming back. Highly recommend this place!
